A very good story with gripping descriptions and metaphors that can not be ignored for their power. This is an insightful read that I recommend for everyone.
As a transgender woman I understand the reality and the pain that accompanies a gender transition. This is the first account of transition I have read that comes close to capturing the pain, the challenges, the doubts and the abuse of others surrounding us. Geat job Paula, keep it up. I look forward to reading more of your work.

This is an excellent story. I have never read anything by Paula Sophia before but will certainly look out for her work in future. The main character, Sophie, is a transgender woman dealing with pressures and inner turmoil I could only have begun to imagine. Now, in this beautifully written short story, I was taken into her world. Plot line and characterisations were spot-on. Highly recommended
So proud to know this incredible woman and to read the strength of sharing her woman's heart shining through her writing.
